Steve, brother-in-law Rick, and I were determined to make it a training week for our upcoming triathlon. I thought we did pretty well. We ran, mountain biked, road biked, and froze our backsides off swimming in a lake. The kids loved playing with their older cousins all day. They rode bikes and played in the creek. We took the kids to Steve's family's favorite swimming hole where they looked for gold. We went into Truckee for dinner and our annual family picture. I would have to say the highlight of the trip was having them all come back down to Folsom for a day to cheer me on in my mountain bike race. I took 1st place for the 2nd time. I know their presence had a big effect on me. Thanks guys!
