Fishing With Grandpa Turner at Navajo Lake--July 2009

A trip to Utah could not be without fishing with Grandpa Turner. It was a big highlight of our trip. Everyone caught a fish so everyone was happy! Even Cousin Tyler Lund got to come along.

We had one really fun month with our stray kittens: Hairy, Meller, Mary, and Smeller. We'll miss you girls terribly!

Incidentally, when we went to take the kittens to Pet Smart after those few days we found two more kittens in our shed just when we were getting ready to go. Pet Smart asked us to take care of the kittens for them and they would come out and give them their shots and treatments and prepare them for being adopted at Pet Smart. The kids loved taking care of them and learned a lot about taking care of pets. It took one month to get everything done. It was a sad, sad day when we dropped them off for good. Noah cried and cried. It broke my heart! Too bad I am allergic to the cute little things.
