For our 12th anniversary Steve tried to recreate our first date for the boys on the back deck. He's a fantastic cook and won me through my stomach. Our first date was a yummy campfire dinner up in the mountains. We told the boys the story about our first date while we ate around the fire. Steve even made S'mores with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups instead of the usual chocolate. YUM! Thanks for 12 fantastic years, Steve. I love you!!!

Sounds like a lovely evening. Happy Anniversary! I'll have to try making s'mores your way. It sounds good. I like making them with Three Musketeers sometimes. Pop 'em in the microwave for about 15 seconds and voila! The chocolate and marshmallow ingredients are there in one thing! It's great!
I totally remember your first date Elizabeth. I think us roommates all helped Steve pull it together. So fun to re-enact it with your boys. I loved the Darth Vader cake you made. So exciting your oldest got baptized. Moments like this make raising kids all worth it.
